The Ignition Casino has just released a brand new blackjack game appropriately called “The New Blackjack.” With the launch of the new game comes a simplified and modern version of an old favorite. Players can find the new games by logging in to the Ignition Casino website.
Details of the Sleek New Ignition Casino Blackjack
Although the new blackjack aims to be simple, the software is unusual by design and will take some getting used to.
The buttons are not placed in a standard locations. Game play buttons are on the right when they are typically below the cards. There are also two distinct locations for betting and “dealing” the cards, taking two clicks. A rebet should be sufficient in this game and would match the simplicity of the design.
For some, another possible annoyance of the new game is that it feels slower than a normal game of blackjack. This is great for those preferring a relaxed pace, but may be a negative for players that simply want to play many hands quick
Rules of the New Blackjack
The New Blackjack is a six deck game that allows players to play up to three hands at one time. Don’t try to count cards; however, the decks are shuffled after every hand.

- Insurance pays 2:1
- Players can split up to 3 hands
- Surrender is allowed after first two cards
- Split Aces receives one card each, no respliting of Aces
- Blackjack is not earned on split aces.
Other Ignition Casino Blackjack Games
The new version of blackjack wont be for everybody. If you prefer a more traditional experience, you will still have plenty of other options at the Ignition Casino.
You can play one of seven versions of blackjack, each with a different experience.
Classic Blackjack: As the name suggests, this is classic version of online blackjack with most standard rules. Start here if you just want to play a traditional game of blackjack.
Double Deck Blackjack: This double deck game of blackjack uses fewer cards, but that doesn’t matter much — the cards are shuffled after every hand. This game does not offer surrender, does not allow resplitting of aces and dealer stands on soft 17.
European Blackjack: With European blackjack, the player makes all of their moves before the dealer receives their hole card. The dealer must also stand on soft 17. There is no also no surrender offered.
Perfect Pairs: Perfect Pairs refers to the bonus payout on these tables. Put up an ante and get a perfect pair to receive a 25:1 payout on your bet with 6:1 on any mixed pair and 12:1 on a colored perfect pair. The dealer will hit on soft 17 and surrender is allowed.
Single Deck Blackjack: Single deck is a popular version of live blackjack for some due to the opportunity to count cards. The version of single deck blackjack, however, shuffles after each hand. Players are not able to surrender and dealers hit on soft 17.
Ignition Zappit Blackjack: The main variation on “Zappit” is that you can “Zap” your cards if you are dealt a 15, 16 or 17. A button will appear that will allow you to discard your original hand for new cards. To counter this advantage, if the dealer earns a 22, the bet will be considered a push. There is no surrender on these games and the dealer will hit on a soft 17.
