The 2014 British Poker Awards have been open for voting for a month now. For players this is the best time to vote for their favorites and earn for themselves a seat at the lavish awards ceremony that will be attended by the best in the business and sponsored by the biggest casinos in the industry. And Unibet – the site that has been making waves with its standalone poker room that went live earlier this year – has promised to be one of the sponsors for the night.
The 2014 awards will feature 16 different categories that gamblers will vote for. The awards list includes categories like Best Live Tournament Player, Breakout Player of the Year, Best UK Poker Tournament and Best Performance of the Year. The deadline for voting is December 31, and at the end of the voting session ten lucky players will be chosen by a lucky draw. These lucky players will get a chance to travel to the final awards ceremony and rub shoulders with the likes of Toby Lewis, Chris Moorman, Jake Cody, and Neil Channing. Cast your vote here.
Unibet looking at making inroads into UK poker market
Unibet’s Head of Poker Martin Starlos is delighted about the casino’s association with the prestigious awards. This year, Unibet will be the headline sponsor for the event. The casino has already proved its clout in the poker world by going solo earlier this year, and reported amazing third quarter revenue. Starlos says that the company is extremely happy to have this chance to sponsor the British Awards, and get more involved in the UK poker industry.
Along with sponsoring the British Awards, Unibet is getting ready to host its Open live tournament series, which celebrates its 30th event when it heads to London on November 27. Read our comprehensive Unibet poker, casino, and bingo review. Sign up at Unibet.
